T-GDI Tiger
The T-GDI (Turbo Gasoline Direct Injection) engine is the technological heart of the Tiger Six and Tiger Eight models. It is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection powerplant designed to offer a balance of high performance, efficiency and driving pleasure. With turbocharging and advanced electronic management, the T-GDI engine delivers prompt response, smooth acceleration and consistent thrust over the entire range.

How efficient are the Tiger models?
With an OE Gasoline/LPG engine and T-GDI technology, Tiger Six and Tiger Eight provide balanced and predictable WLTP values.
In WLTP combined cycle, fuel consumption is around:
- About 7.8-7.9 l/100 km in gasoline mode
- about 10.3-10.4 l/100 km in LPG mode
LPG can save up to 60 percent on fuel costs and helps reduce CO₂ and particulate emissions compared to an equivalent gasoline-only engine, making Tiger models an environmentally smart choice as well.

Even in LPG mode, the T-GDI engine maintains a brilliant thrust, with a maximum output of 167 hp available in the Eight model and a smooth delivery ideal for both urban driving and long journeys.
The power difference from gasoline is minimal and designed to ensure performance, comfort and reliability. Original equipment LPG engines ensure performance levels very close to those of gasoline, with significant economic and environmental benefits.
